Re.Habitat is a solo installation by Sara Oklobdzija developed in dialogue with ten first-generation migrants over six days of communal rope-weaving. The resulting work poses questions of decolonization, shared responsibility and belonging – With whom do we build our common re.habitat? And who still does the “dirty” work? The installation was activated three times by live performance throughout the exhibition run.
